Gene Sieber
1922-1999
Tuba player Gene Sieber died September 18, 1999 of natural causes. Born in 1922 and a 1941 graduate of Reading High
School, he was at first a milk man for Bergdoll and Abbott's dairies, and
eventually worked for Arco in Philadelphia as an oil sales representative.
A member of our band since 1998, he also played in the Chichester Alumni Band and sang
in the Garnet Valley Community Chorus.
