This CD was made possible by the Delaware Humanities Forum, which promotes the humanities by providing an assortment of resources to the people of Delaware. Its programs, which include grants to nonprofit organizations, educational outreach and special projects, are designed to bring the public together with humanities specialists. Its network links cultural, educational and civic institutions statewide, and focuses on issues of public interest and concern. Its goal is to help our residents to learn about life and work by connecting them with other people, cultures and ideas. www.dhf.org.

Band news

Welcome to the Web home of the Diamond State Concert Band! Please join us for our 2008 season. We have been providing music to our community for 32 years.

We rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 at Springer Middle School, 2220 Shipley Road, Wilmington.

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt organization. We play concerts throughout the spring and summer and also during the mid-winter Holidays.

Why do we do what we do? Here are some thoughts.

We welcome new members. We only ask that you play a band instrument and that you can read music. There are no auditions. Download, print, and post our recruiting poster!
